Frequently Asked Questions

What is PuzzleParty?

PuzzleParty is a mobile app that lets you track and share your daily puzzle scores with friends. Create parties, compete on leaderboards, and make your daily puzzle habit more social!

What is Spoiler Mode?

Spoiler Mode hides puzzle-related content until you're ready to see it. When enabled for a party, three things are protected:

  • Spoiler comments in the feed — messages tagged to a specific puzzle stay hidden until you've completed that puzzle yourself
  • Puzzle entries in the feed — other members' results (scores, emoji grids, streaks) are hidden until you've done the same puzzle
  • Daily scoreboards — the full scoreboard stays locked until you've completed all the puzzles represented on that day's board

New parties have Spoiler Mode on by default. Party hosts can turn it off at any time in party settings.

Any member can choose "Show spoilers anyway" for themselves without affecting anyone else in the party.

Which puzzles are supported?

We currently support popular daily puzzles including Wordle, Connections, Strands, and more. We're always adding new games based on user feedback!

Is PuzzleParty free?

Yes! PuzzleParty is free to use. Create an account, start parties, and compete with friends at no cost.

How do I submit my puzzle scores?

Simply share your puzzle results from the puzzle app to PuzzleParty. We'll automatically parse your score and add it to your party's leaderboard!

How can I enter puzzles manually?

If you forgot to share your result or prefer not to use the share sheet, you can enter your puzzle scores directly in the app.

  1. Open the Today's Puzzles section on your home screen.
  2. Find the puzzle you want to log and tap the pencil icon next to it.
  3. Enter your result using the input that appears — this varies by game (number of guesses, time, stars, etc.).
  4. Tap Submit to save your score.

The pencil icon only appears for puzzles you haven't completed yet. Most supported games allow manual entry, including Wordle, Connections, Mini Crossword, Strands, and more.

  3. Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
  4. Find PuzzleParty and tap the green + button.
